Mrs. Nevada International History and
Philosophy
Mrs. International, Inc. was founded in 1985 and has a strong desire to
promote married women in a way unaccustomed to in pageants.
For
example:
The swimsuit
competition has been replaced by aerobic wear
Husbands are
included in the program during evening gown competition
The titleholder's
husband will place the crown on his wife's head
The minimum age for
all applicants has been raised.
Feelings are strong across the United States to promote Mrs. International
with elegance and dignity. Showcasing the family unit, working with
non-profit organizations, highlighting the accomplishments of today's
married women, and giving women the opportunity of competition will
continue to be the ideals for Mrs. International.
Each state delegate will represent her state for the upcoming year and at
the national pageant. The women involved in the Mrs. International system
are those wishing to help reunite the strength our country was built on,
the American family. Although only one will be crowned Mrs.
International, each woman involved at both the state and national level,
will be thought of as a true winner!
Scoring Procedure for Mrs. International
Private Interview 50%
Criteria for scoring will be overall first impression; personal
appearance; communication skillls; ability to relate; commitment to
marriage.
Aerobic Wear 25%
The contestant should have good stage presence and showcase an appearance
of good physical health.
Evening Gown 25%
Total look noting that gown should compliment contestant.
Poise and confidence on stage.
