Of course our pageant would not be possible without those individuals who I call the Pageant Team. I would like to thank all the loyal supporters that have helped make tonight possible. It is through the support of all the individuals I respectfully call the Pageant Team that this is possible.

• Our beautiful and gracious hostess this evening is Donna Baldwin. A former Miss Nevada USA, she is a wonderful addition to our team and has been out gathering prizes for our lucky winners!
• Lou Garcia has been a friend for more years than I care to elaborate on. His work on production and helping prepare our winners is immeasurable.
• Michelle Corley has graciously donated her time toward preparing our winners. Her preparation techniques and amiable way with the titleholders has placed her on the top of my list. I am proud to call her my friend!
• Lisa Antram for always being there for us and putting together a beautiful book!
• Robin VanKempen for volunteering her precious time as the judges hostess! Thank you to her family for giving her up on a Sunday afternoon!
• To my family for having the patience. This event can consume a lot of my time and take me away from the ones that count the most.
• Also, a very big thank you to our prize sponsors. They are a huge part of our program and the success of our winners. We appreciate your generosity!
• I would also like to thank Victoria Franklin, our Miss Nevada Teen USA, for making Nevada pageant history! I believe she is our first Miss Nevada Teen USA to place in the top ten! She is also the first Nevada Teen delegate to make it to the top three. Her position as second runner-up to Miss Teen USA is one of honor. Victoria spent countless hours preparing for the national pageant and all that hard work paid off! I know her family, friends and fellow Nevadans are proud of her accomplishment. Good job, Vicki!

Good luck to tonight's winners. What an honor to represent Nevada in the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants. Congratulations to tonight's delegates. You are beautiful, intelligent and self-confident. I am sure your parents are very proud of developing young women who are not afraid of pursuing a dream!

Finally, I know that pageants are not for everybody. However, I do believe that those young women that choose to participate in pageants benefit from the experience. I know pageants were a way for me to develop my self-confidence, and I attribute my success in life to my pageant experience. I sincerely hope that the young ladies competing tonight can learn from this experience. I wish all the contestants the best of luck and hope they remember this experience fondly.
