Papote Varet, Choreographer A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Papote Varet studied with the famed Ballet de San Juan. Varet has worked with Betsy Haug, Peter Jackson, and the institute of Le Danse, Barcelona, Spain. Stage performances, which took him from Broadway to Spain and Italy, include Cabaret, Sarava, and Fiddler on the Roof. His night club acts include Viva Viva Lissette and Sandy Peltyn. He's done TV specials for Showtime, Nevada Opera Theatre and many others. He has been directing and choreographing Boy-lesque at the Sahara Hotel for the past six years. Varet is responsible for the outstanding choreography on the 1990 Miss Nevada USA Pageant, the 1990 Miss Nevada Teen USA Pageant, and the highly acclaimed 1991 Miss Nevada USA Pageant.

Sandi Ross, Choreographer A talented dancer/choreographer, Sandi Ross has a strong background in performance. She received her professional training in New York and Philadelphia from some of the leading names in the entertainment industry. Sandi's accomplishments in entertainment are diverse and impressive. Her New York theatrical performances include Leg's, Disney Summer, Magie, and A Tribute to Roberta Flack. Here in Las Vegas, Ross has performed in Abracadabra, King Author's Tournament, and Salsa. She has also appeared in a number of television shows. Just as impressive as her dancing credits is Ross' choreography work. She worked on Salsa and Sing, Sing at Bally's Hotel and Casino. Ross was also responsible for the choreography of Moments in Time at the Las Vegas Hilton, special choreography for Boy-lesque at the Stardust Hotel, and the 1991 Miss Nevada USA Pageant. The staff and producers of both the Miss Nevada USA and Miss Nevada Teen USA pageants are pleased and honored to welcome this talented young woman to the team.

Mark Jacobs, TV Producer Mark Jacobs has been in television production for 14 years. He has held the position of photographer at Channel 13 and chief photographer at Channel 3. He currently holds that position at KLAS Channel 8. Jacobs' many impressive credits include national and regional awards from both Associated Press and United Press International as well as various awards from the National Press Photographers Association. Jacobs coproduced, shot and edited the nationally awarded documentary "War on the Streets." In addition to producing local and national commercials, Jacobs has produced music videos and "Star Search" model videos. The Miss Nevada USA & Miss Nevada Teen USA are proud to welcome Mark Jacobs and his outstanding credentials to the pageant staff.
