About The Cinderella
Scholarship Pageant

Founded in 1976, the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant is now in its third decade as the world's largest and most prestigious scholarship pageant for young women in the world. An International Organization with pageants throughout the United States amd many foreign countries, the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant awards over 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS annually through its local, state and international pageants and awards $100,000 EACH YEAR in cash, prizes and scholarships at its International Grand Finals. On the International level of competition, pageant participants are treated to some of the most spectacular staging and broadway style sets in the pageant industry. Never in a ballroom, the Cinderella International Pageant is always held in major civic theaters and arenas. AGE DIVISIONS There are 4 major age divisions in Cinderella: Cinderella Tot Division (ages 3-6 years) Cinderella Miniature Miss Division (ages 7-9 years) Cinderella Miss Division (ages 10-12 years) Cinderella Teen Division (ages 13-17 years) Other age divisions included at some state and local pageants and included at the International Pageant are: Cinderella Baby Division (ages 0-11 mths.; 12-23 mths.; 24-35 mths.) International Woman (ages 18-26 years, married or single) International Ambassador (young men ages high school senior - 26 years, married or single) LEVELS OF COMPETITION Participation in our pageant system begins with the Preliminary (local) Pageant. Young ladies are then qualified to participate at their State Pageants and from the State Pageant may be qualified to attend the prestigious Cinderella International Grand Finals. AREAS OF COMPETITION The following is an explanation of areas of competition and their requirements. These "areas" and their "requirements" remain consistent throughout Preliminary, State and International Pageants. Cinderella Beauty — This area of competition is judged on personal appearance, grooming, poise, personality and stage presence. Participants will appear in 3 categories: Party Dress (full length dress for Teen & International Woman age divisions); Casualwear (slacks, shorts, casual wear, NO SWIMSUITS); Interview - An interview with the judges panel. It is designed to assess poise, grooming and communicative skills. Talent & Tot Onstage Interview — A talent category is required for age divisions 7-9, 10-12, 13-16 and 18-26. Talent presentations cannot exceed 3 minutes. Tot Personality, an onstage interview, will take the place of "Talent" for the 3-6 age division. Photogenic — Participants in each age group are judged on photogenic qualities and personality as exhibited in the photograph of their choice.
